Villa Carlotta is a country house belonging to Zironi family and is located in the countryside of Modena, near Carpi.
It was bulit in the 17th century and then restructured in the 18th and 19th
century.
Villa Carlotta was originally meant to be a "Brothel of Delights"; not far
from town, brothels were once fascinating places where people could spend
"private week-ends" and were preferred even to hunting pavilions.
